That nearly 4 years ago and the first big build we ever did.
Several items should have been handled differently like the welds on the downpipes (because we got in a hurry considering he was coming to pick it up) and some hoses failed that we didn't replace, or charge him for. Not to justify it, but in the big scheme of things it was a huge build with pages of parts and labor and we charged a fraction of what he could have got it done anywhere else. The car made great power and the same motor is still running today, which even amazes me considering how much more experience and how incredibly much more we know now. Fact is in the end we worked it out and everyone was satisfied. However you have brought it up seemingly hundreds of times against us online here at every opportunity. Lots of Z32 owners have much worse experiences at dealers and other shops all over the nation every day. Shops close and sell off peoples parts, stick people with blown motors, but to hear you tell it nothing tops this experience you witnessed 4 years ago. Why can't you let that die? Find something new to bash us about.I have learned a lot of lessons over the years and tried to learn how to improve upon every mistake. One of our biggest problems has always been commiting to have too many cars done too quickly. We are just too busy for promising extraordinary turn around times. Getting your car back by a certain date should never outweigh spending the time to get it done right. If it is going too, we recommend taking it elsewhere. We have moved more to the sooner it gets here the sooner it gets in line mentallity as well as adding a service manger position to help ease communication. We will keep fighting the good fight and never give up converting everyone here. You haven't run us off yet and we still sponsor this forum even though sometimes its hard to justify. We aren't the picture you paint or we would have been gone long ago. I'd have to be a much better salesman to get where we are by selling complete crap.
